Big ups, Li Po
Drinking Alone with the Moon
From a pot of wine among the flowers
I drank alone. There was no one with me –
Till raising my cup, I ask the bright moon
To bring me my shadow and make us three.
Alas, the moon was unable to drink
And my shadow tagged me vacantly;
But still for a while I had these friends
To cheer me through the end of spring….
I sang. The moon encouraged me
I danced. My shadow tumbled after.
As long as I knew, we were born companions.
And then I was drunk, and we lost one another.
….Shall goodwill ever be secure?
I watch the long road of the River of Stars.
His mother must have been Asian.
I don’t know what this is. See what happens when I only have to work eight hours a day. I have visions of a Jack Rabbit father taking his inter-species, inter-racial child on a canabalistsic hunting trip. Idle hands my friends….
It’s not that crazy. I’m sure there’s Japanese porn of chicks banging rabbits. There has to be. Maybe this is just a vision of one of those rabbits trying to be a good dad to his half-white, half-human, bastard son of an Asian porn star by taking him to murder and eat his native ancestors. It’s got to be a metaphor for something.
MFA in Photography, here I come.
If nothing else it would make a great NRA poster.
YOU GOT TO DRINK NOW
Apparently, today is the 75th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition.
TIE A BUCKET OF BOOZE TO YOUR SNOOT
I had a shitty day.
This helped some, though.

I’ve made a huge mistake.
Good idea
The Litte Vagabond, by William Blake Dear mother, dear mother, the Church is cold; But the Alehouse is healthy, and pleasant, and warm. Besides, I can tell where I am used well; Such usage in heaven will never do well. But, if at the Church they would give us some ale, And a pleasant fire our souls to regale, We'd sing and we'd pray all the livelong day, Nor ever once wish from the Church to stray. Then the Parson might preach, and drink, and sing, And we'd be as happy as birds in the spring; And modest Dame Lurch, who is always at church, Would not have bandy children, nor fasting, nor birch. And God, like a father, rejoicing to see His children as pleasant and happy as He, Would have no more quarrel with the Devil or the barrel, But kiss him, and give him both drink and apparel.
Do you need my son Timothy to teach you how to write a song?

Booze review: Landshark

Is that facebeard in the above image, peering over the wall and yelling that he doesn’t have any beer?
So there is this new beer I’ve seen at the grocery store lately called Landshark. It’s been pretty expensive, so I didn’t try it until I found it on sale last night. I only had one before I crashed, but I have to say:
BOOOOO. TWO THUMBS DOWN. I WISH I HAD ANOTHER PAIR OF HANDS SO I COULD GIVE IT FOUR THUMBS DOWN.
Don’t buy it. It tastes like Corona Light.
Anyone have any tasty booze experiences lately? I have been finding Hollande 1620 on sale a lot lately, and it’s fine.
Facebeard,I looked at Laphroaig’s website and I couldn’t find anything about them stopping production. Is your brother trying to incite unrest?
I heard a guy talking about Laphroaig Quarter Cask and I’d like to give it a try. Apparently, the smaller barrel allows the whisky to have significantly more contact with the wood.
SWEET BERRY WINE!
Update: I looked closer at the bottle and Landshark is brewed by a company called “Margaritaville” in Jacksonville, Florida. Figures. I should have known that Jimmy Buffett was behind such a shitty, overpriced product. I want my 12 dollars back, King of Florida.
