Why so bad?

So once, when I was a kid, I asked my preacher why christian rock didn’t sound as good as real rock (like Warrant). He explained to me that in heaven Lucifer was in charge of all art and music. That is why we are tempted by music and images. At the time it made sense to me, but now I wonder: so the devil could kick god’s ass at guitar, bass, drums and vocals… and he could paint better too?

Anyway, the preacher’s logic does explain this:

Apparently god is all seeing, all powerful and tremendously lame.
